The Challenge
A professional author experienced high tax and other global distribution fees through self-publishing platforms like Lulu. He was in search of a professional who could help him build a direct-to-consumer sales platform that might have removed the reliance on third-party retailers. I had been helping him then on a Nanobubble book formatting project. At a moment between our book formatting project conversation, he shared his self-publishing platforms’ limitations with me. He had a ready (registered) domain. The professor had just signed up for a hosting service from Namecheap. Within only 9 days, I helped him set up the site from scratch and make it functional. Key milestones included
