Refund Policy

At PublisherCraft, we stand behind the quality of our work. Because our ecosystem includes custom services, digital products, and physical items, our refund criteria vary by the nature of the purchase.

1. Professional Services

(Writing, Editing, Design, Formatting, Promotion, Website Setup)
Our services involve dedicated professional labor. As such, refunds for services are handled as follows:

Before Work Begins: If you cancel within 24 hours of payment and before any work has commenced, you are eligible for a full refund (minus any third-party transaction fees).

Work in Progress: Once work has started (e.g., an outline is created or a first draft is initiated), refunds are not available. However, we offer a dedicated Revision Period (as defined in your Statement of Work) to ensure the final product meets your expectations.

Escrow.com Projects: For projects over $500, refunds and fund releases are governed by the Escrow.com Milestone Agreement. Once a milestone is approved and funds are released from Escrow, they are non-refundable.

2. Digital Products & Online Courses

All Sales are Final: Due to the intangible nature of digital content (e-books and courses), we do not offer refunds once access has been granted or the file has been downloaded.

Course Satisfaction: If you are a student and feel the course did not meet the “Learning Objectives” described on the sales page, please contact [[email protected]] within 7 days of purchase. While we do not guarantee a refund, we are committed to providing additional support to help you succeed.

3. Physical Book Sales

Damaged or Faulty Items: If a physical book arrives damaged or with printing defects (e.g., torn pages, severe binding issues), please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds for “change of mind” on physical books once they have entered the printing or shipping process.

4. Author Website Setup

Technical Deliverables: Refunds are not available once the WordPress/Wix environment has been configured or custom design work has begun.

5. Statutory Rights (International Clients)

EU/UK Clients: In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act and EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day “cooling-off” period for digital services. However, this right waives once you explicitly consent to the commencement of a custom service (like ghostwriting) or begin downloading/streaming digital content.
